Hon. Shri Satej D Patil, Ex - Minister of State for Home (Urban), Housing, Transport, Information Technology, Parliamentary Affairs & Ex. Servicemen Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra and Ex - Guardian Minister of Kolhapur, possesses a strong acumen for Education and Politics which goes very well with his “People Brilliance” or ability to read and connect to people.

His journey in the field of Politics depicts a remarkably ascending graph. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly (Karveer Assembly) as a candidate of the Congress party in elections held in the 2004; He was then elected in State Assembly election (Kolhapur South Constituency Assembly) in 2009, Subsequently, in 2010, he was crowned as the Minister of State for Home (Urban & Rural), Rural Development, Food & Drugs Administration of Maharashtra.

As an Educational leader, his sharp intelligence and acute foresightedness has blessed all the Stakeholders of Dr.D.Y. Patil Educational Complex, Akurdi to achieve greater heights of Academic Excellence every year.
