Pradnyan-ACM Students Chapter of Department of Computer Engineering and Alumni Coordinator had organized guest lecture on “Success Story by an Alumni” on 11/07/2023 for BE students of Computer Engineering by Ms. Shruti Jaigaria (Graduation Year 2022), Chief Operating Officer, Chaperone Solutions Pvt Ltd, Pune. She had covered the topics like how to write effective resume, how to be open to develop skill sets, new technologies and expectations of the recruiters. Mrs. Dhanashree Phalke (ACM Coordinator) and Mrs. Shanthi Guru (Alumni Coordinator) were the coordinator for the guest lecture.
Pradnyan-ACM Students Chapter of Department of Computer Engineering had organized Expert Talk on “The Role of Data Analyst in Industry” for TE and BE students on 10 Aug, 2023.Total 79 students were participated for the session . Resources person for the this session was Ms. Vrushali Khatane (Passout year 2020) , App Development Data Analyst in Accenture, Pune. Students got familiar with: Career opportunities in industry in database, importance of SQL and PL/SQL in Industry and also acquainted with how to strengthen the portfolio as per current technologies. Mrs. Dhanashree Phalke and Mrs. Anuradha Lamgunde were the coordinators.
Pradnyan-ACM Students Chapter of Department of Computer Engineering had organized workshop, Five days Skill Development Workshop “Tech-Trek” for TE,BE students from 03/10/23 to 07/10/23. Total 36 students were participated for the workshop which was conducted in online mode .1)Mr. Dinesh Methawani , Sr. Manager, ACCENTURE, Pune 2) Mr. Aditya Padekar ACM Team member 3)Ms. K. S. S. Varsha 4)Mr. Sujay Shraunik, TE student were the recourse persons for the workshop. Students got knowledge about industry requirement placement point of view, Git, DSA,CP, Web development. Ms. Dhanashree Phalke and Ms. Supriya Sathe were the coordinator and Co-coordinator respectively.

Total 42 students had attended. 1)Mr. Dhruv Kothari, Software Engineer, Upraised, Bangalore, 2)Suresh Choudhary, TE Student 3)Sapna Kul, 4)Sakshi Thombare, 5)Kritika Choudhary BE students were the recourse persons for the workshop. Pradnyan-ACM Students Chapter of Department of Computer Engineering had organized an Industrial Visit to IITM, Pashan, Pune on 6 March 2024 with 40 students and 3 faculties. The objective of the visit was to show the practical real time High Performance Computing Applications and Data Center to TE & BE students. IITM is a premiere research Institute to generate scientific knowledge in the field of meteorology and atmospheric sciences that has potential High Performance Computing applications in various fields such as agriculture, economics, health, water resources, communications, etc. Ms. Dhanashree Phalke , Ms. Supriya Sathe and Ms. Pooja Bhondve were the coordinator for the visit.
Pradnyan-ACM Students Chapter of Department of Computer Engineering had organized an expert talk on “Big Data Systems and Platforms”. It was organized on 7 March 2024 and 75 students had attended. The resource person was Mr. Rajendra Bhise, Cloud Solution Architect, ATOS, Pune. He had given overview of big data system and platforms and it's working. He explained characteristics and types of big data system and platforms along with how to choose the right big data storage solutions. Mrs Dhanashree Phalke and Mrs. Deepali Gohil were the coordinators.
Department of Computer Engineering had organized expert lecture on "Bridging the Gap Agile Technology and Evolving Role of The Business Analyst "on 23rd August 2024 for TE and BE Students.
