Stablished in 1984, the Department of Mechanical Engineering has a strong legacy of academic excellence supported by a highly qualified and motivated faculty. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, the
department ensures continuous modernization through grants worth ₹65 lakhs from AICTE, University of Pune, and other research initiatives, aiming to meet global standards in technical education.

Innovative teaching methodologies are promoted through the Learning Resource Centre to enhance the skills of newly recruited faculty. Located in a major industrial belt, the department maintains strong Industry-
Institute relations and an active alumni network.

Our Center of Excellence offers a range of value-added courses such as Ansys, CATIA, Hypermesh, 3DPLM, Autodesk, MATLAB, Abaqus, Six Sigma, SEED Infotech, and Japanese Language, ensuring students are industry-ready and globally competitive.
